Announcing Spark Clusters Preview

Data scientists, analysts, and engineers can supercharge the processing power of their notebooks with autoscaling Spark clusters. Apache Spark is a lightning-fast unified analytics engine for big data and machine learning and is the largest open source project in data processing. Zepl users can now build templates for Spark clusters and easily attach those clusters to Zepl notebooks, allowing for much faster performance on complex analytical workflows. Firewall

Enterprise security is top of mind for every company, and we are announcing enhanced security for Zepl. Customers can now restrict which IP addresses can access their Zepl organization with the new Inclusion and Exclusion lists feature. The Inclusion List is for IP addresses that you allow traffic from, while the Exclusion List blocks traffic from those IP addresses. In addition, you can block specific countries from access as well. These new features will improve your security posture and avoid potential threats.

Secret Store

The Secret Store enables private storage of credentials such as passwords, secrets, and tokens, that are data source independent and can be accessed by any data source API. Use Zepl’s Secret Store to keep your sensitive information safe while securely sharing your notebooks across your team.

SAP Cloud Platform Integration

We just launched Zepl’s native integration into the SAP Cloud Platform (SCP), SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC) which immediately brings the power of data science and ML to all of your SAP applications. Write back enriched data to SCP, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP DWC to leverage across all your SAP applications, including SAP Analytics Cloud and 3rd party applications like Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
